The Aguilar AG 4J-60 pickups are designed to have both clarity and warmth and will reproduce all of the dynamics and nuances in your playing. This pickup set is modeled after a mid 60's single-coil Jazz Bass® pickup.

The AG 4J-60 uses all the period correct parts, including Heavy Formvar wire and Alnico V magnets. Aguilar developed a proprietary winding pattern to give these pickups great string-to-string consistency while sounding full and articulate. The pickups complement any bass and are a great match with Aguilar's OBP on-board preamps.



The AG 4J-60 pickups are for four string basses. Both the AG 4J-60 single pickups and sets are direct replacements for Jazz Bass® style basses. Aguilar's AG 4J-60 pickups are available in 3 packages: the AG 4J-60S (Set of neck and bridge pickups), the AG 4J-60N (Neck pickup only) and the AG 4J-60B (Bridge pickup only.)

Following on the heels of the massively successful Tone Hammer 500 amplifier, the Tone Hammer 350 retains the big sound of its predecessor within an even smaller footprint. Giving the Tone Hammer 350 its flexible tone-shaping capabilities is Aguilar's Tone Hammer preamp, the same preamp used in the Tone Hammer D.I./preamp pedal, which has become a favorite of bass players all over the world. Weighing only three lbs., the Tone Hammer 350 features bass, treble and fully sweepable midrange controls. The Drive control utilizes Aguilar’s proprietary AGS circuit which adds subtle distortion and midrange punch to the sound.

As a direct replacement for Fender Precision and other P-style basses, the AG 4P-60 pickups bring the big, round tone from the early 60's to today's instruments. The AG 4P-60 pickups use all the period correct parts, including Heavy Formvar wire and Alnico V magnets. A guilar AG 4P-60 pickups are modeled after the pickups from Aguilar President, Dave Boonshoft's personal 1963 and '64 Precision basses. These pickups have just the right amount of mid-range "nose" to cut through a loud rock band and give all the deep support one would expect from a great 60's P-bass pickup.
